A big day today! We were off the ship at 7:30 and headed to Pisa! Absolutely spectacular and so glad we decided to go.

Alex and I after a few attempts, totally nailed the tower poses.

We then headed into Florence where we did a walking tour for the remainder of the day including an amazing Italian lunch . We visited the Basilica of Santa Croce, Ospedale degli Innocenti (Hospital of Innocents). The building currently serves as the base of operations for the UNICEF Innocenti Research Centre. We also visited the Michelangelo's Statue of David and walked past the spectacular Florence Cathederal. Florence is a beautiful city. Alex and I did 17,500 steps today which worked out to be 12 1/2 km.
